Title: Captain America Media: Mixed Media Size: 2" x 2" Captain America was created for a show at The Art Academy of Cincinnati. Every year they have a Minumental show in which nothing can be larger then 2 inches by 2 inches. When not on the computer, collage has been my medium of choice for the last five years and I love to incorporate comic books. This appropriation is from a comic book I have had since I was a kid. I use to love to cut the characters out and play with them. Making art out of the cut up books years later is a very exciting and nostalgic progression.
